Photo Size Reducer: KB & MB · Publisher: Falaqa Apps · Last updated 27 October 2026

In short: your photos are made smaller on your phone and are never uploaded. No account and no analytics. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob; Pro removes them.

Photo Size Reducer (Google Play package app.falaqa.photosizereducer, called "the app" below) makes smaller copies of photos you choose.

What the app opens

The app opens photos you select with Android's photo picker or file chooser, or that you share to it from another app. For batch saving, you can choose an output folder; Android then grants the app access to that folder. The app does not request access to your whole photo library, contacts, camera, microphone or location.

Where processing happens

The app changes photos on your phone. Your photos are never sent to the publisher or to an ad company. A cloud file provider can download a selected photo using its own service; its handling of that file is governed by that provider.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK: an optional ad you can watch to make a batch of photos at once, and at most one ad after a save. Pro removes them.

To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect from your phone the advertising ID, IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), device and app information such as the model, Android version and app version, and your interactions with the ad. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Where the law requires it, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can change your choice later in the app under Ad privacy choices. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's settings.

The publisher receives only aggregated ad reports from Google, such as impressions and earnings per country. It does not receive your advertising ID or your photos.

Pro purchase

Pro is an optional one-time purchase handled by Google Play. The app asks Google Play whether Pro was bought and keeps Google's purchase record on the phone so Pro works offline. Payment details stay with Google; the app never sees them.

Temporary work

Selected photos and unfinished results are copied to private app storage so you can recover from an interruption. Unsaved work expires after 24 hours and is cleared when the app next opens. Access to a chosen output folder lasts while the workspace exists, so you can reopen saved photos; it is released when you clear the workspace or after 24 hours. You can clear temporary photos sooner from Settings, privacy & help.

Saved and shared copies

Saving creates a new JPEG where you choose. The new file holds the image only, not the original's metadata, so location and camera details are not copied. Sharing sends that JPEG to the app you choose. Your original photo is never changed or deleted.

Deleting data

Use Clear temporary photos to remove unsaved work. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove its settings and remaining private files. Saved copies belong to the place you chose; delete them in your Files or Photos app.

Backups

Photos and settings are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. The app does not log file names, photo content or file locations.
