Privacy policy
In short: your dates stay on your phone. No account, no ads, no analytics and no internet permission.
Countdown Widget (Google Play package app.falaqa.countdown, called "the app" below) counts the days until or since dates you add.
What the app stores
The app stores date names, calendar dates, count direction, repeat and reminder choices, archive state, reminder delivery records, widget choices, appearance settings and an unfinished editor draft in private app storage.
The app has no accounts, advertising or analytics. It requests no internet, contacts, location or calendar access. It uses Android notifications only for reminders you choose. Reboot access lets scheduled reminders resume after the phone restarts.
Pro purchase
Pro is an optional one-time purchase handled by Google Play, under Google's own policy. The app only reads the purchase record from Google Play on your phone to unlock Pro and does not send it anywhere.
Backups and sharing you choose
Import and export use Android's document picker. The app gets access only to the file or folder you select. A backup holds your event names and dates as readable text and is not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private.
Export also keeps a private retry copy in app storage until it is replaced by another export, removed with Delete all dates, or the app is uninstalled. Share makes a picture card and gives the app you pick temporary access to it. Old cards are cleaned up when you share again.
A cloud file provider or sharing app you choose may upload the content under its own policy. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are turned off for this app.
Removal and retention
Dates stay until you delete them or uninstall. Archiving pauses reminders but keeps the date. Delete all dates removes events, reminder history, the draft and the private backup. Appearance settings and widget setup may remain; widgets then show removed dates as unavailable.
Deleting data in the app does not delete exported backups, shared cards or copies in another app. If you lose your phone without an exported backup, your dates cannot be recovered.
